Junior Security Analyst/SOC

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts using tools like Splunk, QRadar, or similar.

• Help investigate and respond to basic security incidents.

• Follow SOPs and playbooks to handle alerts consistently.

• Work with senior team members to contain and analyze threats.

• Assist in creating reports on daily and weekly SOC activity.

• Participate in team meetings, training, and knowledge sharing.

 

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or SOC role.

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, malware, phishing).

• Familiar with SIEM tools or willing to learn (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends or nights if required.

• Strong interest in learning and growing in the cybersecurity field.
